Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor, popular for his roles in famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time in university Christopher Meloni was interested in the acting world. He pursued a degree in acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared on film and television however it is his roles on the smaller screen that brought him fame and a large admirers. The actor has the ability to play characters from both good and bad side in the law enforcement system. He can draw the attention of viewers easily. In his first TV series, he played the part of a murderer. He then went on to portray the role as an NYPD Detective. His performances on small screens were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. One of his most striking facial traits is believed to be the sharp blue eyes that have allowed him to portray characters who appear rough and fascinating. In 2006, he appeared on People's publication's Sexiest Men Alive list.
