Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting when she was in Preparatory School. The late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna started out in Chicago, working in theatre parts for a number of years. After that, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in TV shows and films. Anna got her first major role as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. At the beginning of 1990, she appeared as a regular guest on TV and in films, such as Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood and was filming between 2000 and 2001. Skyler played her part in Breaking Bad. Sully was another of her characters. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn starred in a four-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and eventual end resembles the end of Walter White's story.
